The secluded holiday complex is ideal for strolls along the picturesque coast and for water sports. It is located within a 60 minutes drive from Varna and Bourgas airports and less than 10 minutes from the nearby towns Byala and Obzor. The accommodation units are situated in two buildings located 100 m away from each other. Both buildings are connected by a bridge floating over a small river. Each building is provided with a reception desk and a parking lot. Covered parking area is avilable only in one of the buildings. All resort’s guests are welcome to use the facilities of the two hotel buildings without limits. Restaurants, pools and beach with free of charge sun beds and umbrellas are available infront of the main building. Volleyball and beach tennis courts and outdoor exercise equipment are situated in front of the new building. Bars serving snacks and beverages are available in both buildings. Rooms: Sol Luna Bay Resort offers 543 spacious and tastefully decorated rooms where you can experience full comfort and relaxation. There ?r? 5 accommodation types available: double standard room and family suite, studio, one bedroom suite and two bedroom suite. The double rooms and the studios are equipped with twin beds (which could also be set as a double bed) and extendible sofabed/armchair. Max. occupancy of the double rooms is 2 adults and 1 child/ 3 adults For the studios - 2 adults and 2 children/ 3 adults. Especially attractive for families are the suites which offer accommodation possibilities for up to 5 guests (4 normal beds and 1 extendible sofa or 2 normal beds, 1 extendible sofa and 2 extendible armchairs). Some of the suites are maisonettes offering 1 extendible sofa and 2 extendible armchairs at the first level and 2 twin beds set as a double bed at the second level. Sol Luna Bay Resort cares for the comfortable stay of guests with disabilities. It features special access rooms ( 4 double rooms and 2 family suites) with wheel-in showers, shower seats, grab rails, toilet raisers. Each double room for disabled persons is adjoined with standard double room for companions. There are two halls with capacity for up to 50 and one for up to 80 attendants provided with presentation equipment. Others: Obzor - one of the oldest Black Sea settlements. Nowadays, the remains of columns and statues of the Roman Jupiter’s temple are exposed in the small park of the modern town. The Emine cape is located 14 km south of Obzor. There is a lighthouse and remains of the ancient Bulgarian fortress Emona. Byala - the town is famous for the White Rocks of Byala, a natural phenomenon, partially visible from the resort. The St. Athanas Cape is located between the resort and Byala. It started as an ancient Thracian settlement (6th BC -2nd centuries AD) and flourished in late antiquity as a fortress (4th - early 7th centuries AD) with a church, houses and workshops. During the Sol Luna Bay aquapark construction, we uncovered a well preserved ceramics kiln (6th century). We have exhibited it within the resort along with local artifacts found during the excavation works in the Byala area, incl. various amphorae, lamps, pottery. Byala is a famed winegrowing region, especially with its Dimiat wine. A unique ancient winery (6th century AD) was excavated and can be seen at the antique fortress on St. Athanas Cape. Varna, the biggest city on the Bulgarian seaside coast, is just 50 km away from Sol Luna Bay Resort. There you can find Thracian excavation sites, Greek and Roman vestiges, as well as the oldest processed gold in the World exhibited in Varna Archaelogical Museum. The historic town of Nessebar, situated on a small romantic peninsula, surrounded by the beautiful sea, is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. Its ancient spirit combines fortresses’ ruins, numerous churches and relaxing atmosphere.
